Sioux Falls Police shooting range had a drab, ugly concrete floor that was difficult to clean. They had two objectives in mind. A brighter, nicer looking floor and one that would hold up to the abuse of a gun range. Shells get ejected when shooting and are spread out all over the floor. They area a mess and not easy to clean up. The existing concrete was very rough, ugly and a nightmare to clean. All Around Surfaces epoxy chip coating totally transformed the space into a bright, attractive room. On top of that it is now super easy to clean with the gloss clear coat added on top and not slippery at all due to the texture of the chips in the floor.
On top of adding the incredible looking epoxy chip floor to the room, All Around Surfaces also added GLOW in the DARK lines every 10 feet so the officers could test their skills at certain distances. The special glow in the dark chip shines when the lights are dimmed. This is necessary as they train in all different situations including low light.
The end result was quite impressive. They got a gorgeous looking, durable floor that fits their needs by allowing them to train much for different situations they encounter.
The staff was blown away by the new floor and everyone comments on how great it looks!
